{"id":70,"date":"2019-03-10T00:42:50","date_gmt":"2019-03-10T00:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kjkmusic.co.uk\/v2sandbox\/?p=70"},"modified":"2019-03-10T00:42:50","modified_gmt":"2019-03-10T00:42:50","slug":"humanbeautiful","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mabno.co.uk\/kjkmusic\/humanbeautiful\/","title":{"rendered":"Human:Beautiful"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed wp-block-embed-embed\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-embedded-content\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts\" security=\"restricted\" width=\"560\" height=\"367\" src=\"https:\/\/odesli.co\/embed\/?url=https%3A%2F%2Falbum.link%2Fi%2F1335270418#?secret=gXL9ndffbB\" data-secret=\"gXL9ndffbB\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Produced over a two year period, <em>Human:Beautiful <\/em>has been through numerous reboots and re-recordings as I worked to decide on a cohesive production sound while working through some traumatic personal issues &#8211; what I have ended up with is a sound incorporating jazz and acoustic performances with huge electronic arrangements exploring the full emotional range of the misfit life, coming through depression, anxiety and finding the will to be yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n[bandcamp width=400 height=472 album=941861139 size=large bgcol=ffffff linkcol=0687f5 artwork=small]\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Human:Beautiful Track by track:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><em><strong>Click title to view lyrics<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>01 <em>Human:Beautiful<\/em> \u2013 a harmony acappella chant by way of introduction and foreshadowing of things to come.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>02 <em><a href=\"https:\/\/kjkmusic.co.uk\/blog\/never-been-rich-never-been-bored\/\">Never Been Rich\/Never Been Bored<\/a><\/em> \u2013 an uptempo jam with a <em>Lust For Life<\/em> type groove and a quirky approach to mid-life reflection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>03 <em><a href=\"https:\/\/kjkmusic.co.uk\/blog\/sunlight-in-the-heart-of-the-machine-4\/\">Sunlight In The Heart Of The Machine<\/a><\/em> \u2013 with a title inspired by a vision of an oppressive industrial environment punctuated by a beam of sunlight coming through a crack in the ceiling, this is symphonic alt-rock with the message that, no matter how harsh and oppressive those in charge may be, this is still a world worth fighting for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>04 <em><a href=\"https:\/\/kjkmusic.co.uk\/blog\/arrested-for-smiling\/\">Arrested For Smiling<\/a><\/em> \u2013 faux big band jazz with sneaky time signature changes and satirical lyrics on the inevitability of distrust.
