An update of the first song on my first album as Kerry JK, released ten years ago. The original song was inspired by Florence King’s complaint that modern Americans were “asleep at the wheel” and “living in the age of human error”. My response was that the Age of Human Error is way more preferable than the age where everyone pretends human error doesn’t exist, or worse, transposes it into an age of unchecked technological error. Well, shucks. Ten years on, say hello to option B.

The Need To Be Amazingly Vainglorious
Inspired by a social media poll I once posted in a fit of pique after being worn down by the rounds of endless tawdry self-promotion the game demands. The poll question was, “Do you need to be amazingly vainglorious in order to be successful as a creative?”. The vote came back with a resounding “yes”.
